How we handle your personal data.

1. Who we are

Immigration Express (ACRA UEN 202630834D) is a Singapore immigration consultancy and a subsidiary of MCI Group of Companies. In this notice, "we", "us" and "our" mean Immigration Express, and "you" means anyone whose personal data we handle, including visitors to this website and people who contact us.

Immigration Express is a private company. It is not a government agency and is not affiliated with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) or the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

2. The personal data we collect

Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:

• Identity and contact details: your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number and country.
• Details about your immigration matter that you choose to give us, such as your nationality, the pass you hold, your employment, salary, education, time in Singapore and family circumstances.
• Documents and information you provide during an engagement, such as passports, pass cards, certificates, payslips and tax records, including those of family members you ask us to act for.
• Records of our correspondence and consultations with you.
• Technical data collected when you visit this website, such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you view, and cookies as described in section 9.

If you give us personal data about another person, such as a spouse or child, please make sure they know you are doing so and agree to it.

3. How we use your personal data

We collect, use and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:

• Responding to your enquiry and assessing your eligibility.
• Providing our services, including preparing and submitting applications on your behalf.
• Communicating with you by email, telephone, WhatsApp or other messaging services.
• Administration, billing, record keeping and resolving complaints.
• Improving this website and our services, and measuring the effectiveness of our advertising.
• Complying with the law and with requests from government and regulatory authorities.
• Where you have agreed, telling you about services offered by us, by MCI Group of Companies and by our partners.

4. Who we may share your personal data with

We reserve the right to disclose your personal data, including your name and contact information, to the following parties for the purposes in section 3:

• Other companies within MCI Group of Companies.
• Our business partners and service providers, including providers of IT, hosting, email, messaging, analytics, advertising and professional services.
• Selected third-party partners and service providers offering products or services related to living and working in Singapore, including property, relocation, insurance, financial, education and other related services.
• Government agencies and authorities, such as ICA and MOM, where you engage us to make an application or where the law requires it.
• Our professional advisers, auditors and insurers.
• Any party to a sale, merger or restructuring of our business, subject to equivalent confidentiality.

Where you have given your consent, we may disclose your personal data to these third parties so that they may contact you directly about their products or services. You can withdraw that consent at any time (section 7).

We may receive a referral fee, commission or other commercial benefit when we introduce or refer you to such third parties.

5. Marketing messages

We will only send you marketing messages with your consent. Messages to a Singapore telephone number are sent in accordance with the PDPA's Do Not Call provisions. You can unsubscribe from any marketing message, or tell us at info@immigrationexpress.com.sg that you no longer wish to receive them.

6. Transfers outside Singapore

Some of our service providers, such as email and website hosting providers, may store or process personal data outside Singapore. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure the data receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

7. Access, correction and withdrawing consent

You may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, and how it has been used or disclosed in the past year. You may also ask us to correct personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.

You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal data at any time by writing to us at info@immigrationexpress.com.sg. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer act for you, and we will tell you if so. It does not affect anything done lawfully before the withdrawal.

We will respond to your request as soon as reasonably possible, and normally within 30 days. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you the amount before we proceed.

8. How we protect and keep your data

We make reasonable security arrangements to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us online.

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes it was collected for, or as required for legal or business reasons. After that, we delete it or remove the means by which it identifies you.

9. Cookies

This website uses a cookie to remember the language you chose. We may also use analytics and advertising tools, such as those provided by Google, which set cookies to measure visits and the performance of our advertisements. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, though it may not remember your language.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top. Your continued dealings with us after an update mean you accept the revised notice.
